Defense
The Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2014 provides $572.0 billion in base and
overseas contingency operation funding, compared to $604.7 billion in pre-sequester fiscal year
2013 funds. The base budget appropriation is $486.6 billion. The defense bill also contains
$85.2 billion for Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) of the Department of Defense.
