If you say MamaCanugra is not a big contract. Than why would Scheer say this in an interview back in August.

“It’s an important client that is opening us to new kinds of applications,” Scheer said. “We are already working with Dorel on other types of durable products, such as step stools and bathtub steps.”

Dorel has a manufacturing plant in Columbus.

“It’s also important because the products we are making are ideal for juvenile products because they are healthy,” Scheer said. “We’re pretty excited about that.”

He said its new customer should help the local factory hire more workers.

Cereplast now employs 20 people at its Seymour plant. Scheer said he hopes the new business with MammaCangura helps slowly rebuild production workers to the 50 it employed in 2011.
