Hi Vic, pugs, Wes, Creede, RU, Weebie, bobs, penny, airedale and all the other great posters here. (Sorry if I missed some, need to get to sleep, 18 hours today online is enough.)

Anyway, a lot of you know me. I cover a lot of stocks so if I'm not around here, it's not because I don't care LOL. I wouldn't have taken on this board if I didn't have a couple of great assistants, who hopefully have more time than I do to devote to any one board. This board seems very well behaved overall. I dumped a couple of the posts. Most seem to know the rules. Maybe a few less meaningless posts for those of us who follow a lot of boards. Of course, I hope that few follow my lead and spew off lengthy crap such as this LOL...

I honestly have to say that my knowledge of junior mining companies is fairly limited and I'm learning here. To that end, I appreciate the great projections from airdale and others. I'd like to see a lot more of that, with the same level of detail. My own common sense tells me that valuing the company means taking the known and projected production and factoring in price of gold and costs to produce, etc. All the variables are typically subjective because we have to believe what the company tells us to some extent. That's why specific statements of known and projected production are so important.

I've been pretty successful over the years by keeping things fairly simple. It enables me to trade and invest longer term in a variety of industries, in nanocaps, microcaps and even larger plays.

Keeping it simple means, for me, to understand that the value of a stock is basically determined by the float and the competition for that float. It's a truism. Supply of stock and demand for stock = price of the stock. I bought in AURC in the .04 range and then really loaded up in the .02 range. I always trade on the periphery of my positions and then buy back. It's just my own style. I average down but then also buy if I see it moving. So I confess that I sold some shares as high as .24 and then bought back at .16. It's not immoral. I'll be buying more tomorrow if I can at that price, probably a lot more.

Right now this is likely my favorite penny stock (although I also really like HMSG and GCHR today). But, I'm not here to mention other stocks. Like I said, I carry about 40-50 active positions and right now AURC is probably my favorite penny stock. Why? I cut through the BS and like the fact that it has a nice steady rise, no huge volume days. There has been almost no pumping, no email pumps. IE IT'S PRETTY UNDISCOVERED SO DEMAND SHOULD INCREASE FOR SHARES WHILE SUPPLY OF SHARES SHOULD STAY STEADY.

The fundamentals, and that's where the projections are great, help create demand and keep me and many others here invested and not just flipping or going to the MOMO du jour.

Just as important (and to a simpleton such as myself) is the float and the capital structure (the supply). It's something that I can understand. The volume and the trading tells me that there has been no significant dilution.

To me, that is the most important factor. When I call CEO's or IR, I basically skip over the business plan because they all have the greatest thing since (fill in the blank - gold - widgets - oil- perpetual motion machines, etc.) I want to know HOW they are financing. How are they putting the plan together. I like the fact that AURC has seen fit to acknowledge that a tight float and steady o/s is the key to building a strong shareholder base. I don't want to call a company and be told that they are cutting shares and then find out that some insider dumped shares the next day. I'll stick with a CEO who is investing as I am, not dumping while promoting his "greatest thing since....." If you look at any of the success stories, pennies that became dimes, quarters and dollars, you will see that the CEO understood that a strong shareholder base was a key to the rise.

"Seeing is believing." The trading has supported my own view that dilution has been minimal.

Anyway - end of rant - just wanted to introduce myself over here.

I'm open for suggestions as to how to make the board better. I have mixed feelings about OT other stocks. I often get good ideas from other posters so perhaps labelling OT and just posting once. Spamming other stocks will get posts deleted.

I'm one who has gotten into his share of flame wars and so I'm going to try to limit that here as I don't have time to kick anyone's posterior. I typically go after moronic generic bashers or those who defend hedgie naked shorting and I don't need to do more of that here LOL...

Shoty term - I'd like to see it break througth that psychological barrier at .25. If that happens, I think we'll see a real quick move up to the next tier .40-.50.
