Cash great point. The trading behavior definitely is MMs posturing for major buying pressure they anticipate or know is coming. It's well known that MMs manipulate trades to their benefit. They must ready their shares to minimize dollar loss. They are do not have enough shares to cover themselves and float is very low.

Should be fun to witness.
