I have defended Ashraf in the past when some folks called for him to quit the board. I did this even when I felt that some of his SA and MF articles were extremely imbalanced and some titles as sensationalistic as those in NE.

By the same token, I will request the moderators to look carefully at flumoxed's posts and see if they were so extreme as to warrant deletion - I consider message deletions a huge insult, and as such, should be resorted to extremely sparingly, if at all.

I would like the moderators to go through this process without asking flumoxed to "request" this being done. If such deletion is unwarranted, asking him to "request a review" is adding insult to injury.
