This round of options trading has gone better so far. I've adopted some of the principles you cited actually. For the same reason, I need to work, lol. In two months of trading I've had 2 killer weeks, but fought to survive the other 6, lol. So overall I've doubled the account as of today. Generally I'm watching only 5 stocks that trade around 50 bucks. And then go $1 into the money. The ones I like usually have a premium of 50 cents or less. If it runs $1.50, I double my money. If it goes down I can get out with some coin left. Kind of like trading a $1 volitile stock. Then later in the week I've been looking at some sexy techs but go out of the money for lottery trades occasionally. So this week I hit UNG and then AAPL for a killer week. Got GOOG into tomorrow and C into next week...
