GCHR..Golden Chief Resources, Inc. Workovers Completed
LEWISVILLE, Texas, Feb 08, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Golden Chief Resources, Inc. (Pink Sheets:GCHR) has re-worked and installed new production equipment on three wells on the Lindley lease in Montgomery County, Kansas. These operations began more than a week ago and were completed yesterday due to weather related delays. The Company installed new downhole pumps, new production tubing, and optimized pumping systems on the wells. All three wells are currently producing oil, but, actual production data is not yet available, however the Company expects to see significant improvement over the next few weeks.
We are currently awaiting the finalization of the audit of the Company's financial statements as of September 30, 2005. It is expected that the results will be completed in the next ten days.
