DMC, unfortunately you won't be able to walk into Blum dispensary. California laws mandate that you must have a legal California license to get a medical card. If Derek's shop is legitimate, which I expect it to be, you won't make it past the lobby. And even then, you'll get a swift boot.

I am a California cannabis card patient though, so when I happen to be in or around Oakland next, I'll be stopping by.

I do find it slightly odd that Oakland was chosen for his dispensary. Oakland is ghetto. All is well though, as there are diamonds in the rough.
