True. Many things that we had hoped for have not materialized in the past on the uplisting and financing front. But I would not consider them as broken "promises" since the decision to go forward or not did not lie with SIAF. One example is the FN listing. Siaf tried hard, even paid Penser and the swedish legal team dear money to achieve that goal but failed to produce results. The same thing may happen with Nasdaq so I am not holding my breath for that, nor do I think it is an extremely important thing for SIAF to have in order to achieve its near term goals. One thing is within their control and can be construed as a "promise" is the new "comprehensive" dividend policy that is to be announced on or before Feb 20. I do not know what makes them feel so sure about the availability of funds to pay a divi boost in the near future to make them set that early a date for such an announcement. We will see in four weeks.

For me, I am willing to wait another year or so since I have been here only since late 2011 and am not betting the farm on them. I feel bad for those who have been here much longer and paid a much higher share price than me. I just think waiting three or four years, max five years, for an exceptional return in the long haul is a fairly low price that I am willing to pay. I have waited a little longer with my other chinese stock, KNDI, and for the first three years (mid 2011 to mid 2013) since I first bought it, nothing much happened either, and the stock seemed to move often more down than up although not as much as SIAF. They also failed to achieve many near term goals whose success or failure was also not within their direct control. Nevertheless, I did not lose faith and have used the dips to add constantly to my position. Now it seems to have paid off although it is just a small start. With SIAF I have invested even more time in DD and have done the same, adding on dips and averaging down whenever I could. Hopefully my patience will pay off here also. I cannot see a single reason why it should not. Do I have a guarantee that SIAF will succeed? Hell no. fwiw
