Excellent correction. Knowing the correct spelling and use of the words lode vs load, if an excuse were to be made, and I am not making one, it would be the fact that at the time of writing, I was multitasking. I was getting loaded (and excited) watching the 49ers load points on the board, at the same time trying to satisfy this Boards craving for news of our modern 49ers working our lode, toss the pretty redheaded wife (in the mix), and one could easily understand I had literally an orgy of things going on at the same time. Thinking back.. all of your versions of lode/load passed through (my head) in that time period .. minus the 1937 version.. thankfully. So one could easily understand the reason for the error and excuse me. Go NBRI!
