I checked out 3 other young cloud based companies to see where we could go once Spiffy's revenue starts ramping. None of the 3 are profitable, but, they all have large cash positions and are Nasdaq listed -

Splunk (SPLK) - Founded 2005 - IPO 4/19/12 - Big data analytics software

Market Cap 8.55 Billion - 107 Million O/S shares - $352 Million cash - $268 Million revenue(TTM)

FireEye (FEYE) - Founded 2004 - IPO 9/20/13 - Cloud based advanced malware security

Market Cap 8.89 Billion - 121 Million O/S shares - $328 Million cash - $136 Million revenue(TTM)

Workday (WDAY) - Founded 2005 - IPO 10/12/12 - Cloud based human resources and financial management software

Market Cap 16.72 Billion - 181 Million O/S shares - $1.28 Billion cash - $408 Million revenue(TTM)

Sphere 3D (SPIHF) - Founded 2008 - Reverse Merger, ANY.V started trading 12/31/13 - Sphere 3D Corporation is a Mississauga, Ontario based virtualization technology solution provider whose patent pending Glassware 2.0™ technology makes it possible for incompatible devices and applications to run over the cloud, without sacrificing performance or security. Sphere 3D's Glassware 2.0™ ultra-thin client allows third parties to deliver fully featured products to any cloud-connected device independent of operating system or hardware.

Market Cap 115 Million - 21 Million O/S shares - $5 Million cash - 0 revenue(TTM)

What a sector to be in!!! 8.5-16.72 Billion Market caps without profits!!!

We're all looking forward to Sphere's revenue ramp to begin this quarter. The above companies have a 3-4 year head start on us, but, I anticipate Sphere ramping revenues more quickly and being very profitable, due to the business model, to boot!!!
