Looks like OI is decreasing today. Not sure what this means as you can't tell if it is the longs or the shorters closing their position. Or can you?

There is no way today's OI can be determined until the numbers come out tommorow.

Yesterday's OI (reported today) gained another 2577 contracts and was the fourth straight day of OI gains in COMEX Gold futures.
