Brez,

I'm all for being a half full kind of guy, but you have to be careful to not have blinders on either. "yeah I'm "no news is Good" here too.... we've seen the list of potential ships that have gone down in their area "

Should you buy Ford stock because there are ships under the water in the DR? Of course not. Because Ford doesn't have any boats to dive and doesn't have a permit to dive that area, and isn't diving that area. But ...neither does or is DPBE. They have Billy's boat, but the only reason he dove this past year was because London paid him some money. London is done for now. they "Might" come back and fund more. They might not. And if they do, what do they GET for that? Do they get 70% of the finds that come to us in our 50%? That's what Wilf offered the partnerships, so who knows what he offered London. It would be nice if he TOLD us something. Instead, he is keeping it all very secret, which is NOT good news for a publicly traded company. We don't know if we would get ANY of the division as a company, versus it all going out for the latest rounds of funding. Knowing what comes to the company is a material fact and should be disclosed. the fact it is not could very likely be a breech of SEC regulations. A scary thing for a public company. next part of that line.

Do they have a permit to dive? From what I hear (In spite of allusions to the contrary without saying anything patently false, but leading us to believe a falsehood) DPBe does NOT have a contract with the DR. It expired, it was supposed to be renewed, and it was pending. SO they somehow were allowed to dive this past year without it. Will they this year? Wow, a big unknown. Next part. Are they diving. this one is important. this is the DR, not New England. to say it is winter and they can't dive is not 100% accurate down there. Yet WHEN is the last time we put ANYONE in the water? Months and months ago. that has been confirmed. SO, just like Ford, we don't have any boats owned by DPBE anymore, since they sold the last one in 2013, we don't have a permit at this time to dive, and we are not diving.

I LOVE those shipwrecks you mention. Hope we find TWO of them. smile But we are not diving, we don't have a contract, and we don't know if the company will get anything if some treasure is found, since it is split to the DR government, then the London group, then the partnerships, and THEN it comes to the company. And that is just the TOP line it comes to (revenue) and all expenses have to come from there. Doesn't sound too good, and the no news on what was given to London for this latest round of funding is a good chance to be against SEC disclosure rules. Makes the glass maybe half full, but it is bitter water that is in it.

"If they announce continued funding and diving this year and division, and if Wilf will update us on what the company is doing and planning on doing, (hopefully he wont mess with share status)... I think we could hit pennies again " Hope is great. Misguided hope is what brought all the shareholders down on the stock dividend of this company. And just like that one, this one now has too many lines up to the money before it trickles down to the company. DR, London, Partnerships, others, and then us. And no diving contract extension from the company yet. Nope. I'm out. took a rare profit on this last Labor Day. If they do as you say, get funding again, and start DIVING again, I'll buy again. It may be even a little higher than the current price. But I'd pay more for a lottery ticket that has three numbers already drawn that all match than a ticket that has nothing drawn yet. that make sense? The odds are better. I'll buy if there is a REASON to buy. But blinders when the company won't tell us what it COST to get the funding, isn't coming clean on the contract not being renewed yet, told us the boats were 100% paid for and then when told to sell one to fund the company admitted it was leveraged at about or OVER 100%? Brez, I think that is too much of a stretch.

What do you think?

(And I know some bulls will not be happy with this post, and hammer ME, but the company is what should be discussed. Tell me where ANY of this is wrong if you think it is. My thoughts aren't perfect. And at times I'm bullish short term on DPBE. Just not now, with no diving happening ON those wonderful wrecks and no contract in hand, and the bot sold, and the division going to others besides the company. Or tell me why the risk that the SEC comes in and shuts the company down for the regulation violations I noted are probably occurring isn't a factor too?)

GLTY Brez. I hope DPBE works for you, and if things start popping, I'll be back in again too. smile Just need some answers before we convince ourselves that something is true that is not. Like being convinced a story that emeralds are worth millions, even though facts TOLD us they were worth less "Oh, that guy is biased when he said they are worth $50,000". As an example. Don't ignore the facts with blinded hope. smile
