The fact REVO announced its negotiations with said company (Google?) before said company even bought out Nest only confirms there have been negotiations. No one on the market even knew said company was looking at buying Nest or even thinking about the home monitoring industry until it was announced recently. Nest has no product to be used by Google, meaning it has to be acquired. REVO has the US patent for EyeTalk, a motion sensored device which can be used across all smartphone devices which is what Google is targeting. I don't think its a coincidence.
