I haven't seen any evidence they (TSM) are failing on their plans or any indication they are in trouble.



Well if you don't see negative cash flow for the last 4 years as an indication of trouble or projections of continuing negative cash flow as an indication of trouble, then I'm afraid you don't have the accounting/financial skills to spot trouble even when it's hanging right in front of you.

As far as their plans go, I guess they are okay if you regard unknown arrival of 20nm planar volume production with flawed economics as success.

And substantially unknown arrival of an economically flawed half-step to FinFET.
