San Juan 2 was the first well drilled by Treaty in Belize.

Why not this well wasn't called San Juan 1 is not clear, as the inverted well numbering of the first two wells leads to unnecessary confusion.

Treaty reported detecting gas in the wellbore while drilling at certain depths and Geology and Petroleum Dept reported dead oil shows (tar) in their denial of an oil discovery in this well.
