Regarding "leaked" woodcrest pricing... The pricing looks pretty real, as it mirrors the current Irwindale pricing structure. I was a bit surprised to see six bins, but then noticed they also sell six of the current Xeon DP irwindales, so I suppose it is possible. DP products have never had much of a price premium over desktop. Actually, back in the P3 day they were the exact same part at the same price. It was only the MP cascades that was very expensive. With the early P4 products Intel started charging about a 10% premium for Xeon DP over desktop, and over time that premium has gone up to where it is now at almost 40%. --Alan
