On a slight tangent, if down the road, many years ahead, ARM managed to be the dominant architecture and Intel was forced to go the ARM route themselves for mobile, desktop and even server, what constraints would there be on ARM jacking up licensing costs by 100%, 200%, 400% etc?

It's not in ARM's best interests to do that. ARM would love nothing more than to see Intel as its largest, most successful customer.

$50B+ in semiconductor sales @ 1.5% royalty...that'd double ARM's business overnight.
