Perhaps. However, if you go back into time and take a look at the postings to Forum Mobile (the parent's) website, you'll clearly see that the company was earnestly attempting to prepare for the current transaction.

But just how does one "go back in time"?

Google and two other companies deploy robots that CRAWL the web, ARCHIVING all websites and depositing what those robots find into caches. This means that you can actually see what a company's website looked like in the past, even though the content has changed ... or even though that site has been disabled or no longer exists.
