Hey Restripe, Didn't mean to not get back to you about this. TO be honest I focus on Walleye in the spring as I live on Lake Winnebago which is one of the best Walleye lakes around. I have fished Musky in the spring but without much luck. I do know though that they have fairly good luck down on the Madison chain of lakes but with all the fishing pressure in the spring you really have to figure out speed and lure type and color pretty quickly or you can get very frustrated.

I know this does not help but I spend alot of time up in Vilas & Hayward counties in the summer and fall. Wishing you a bunch of luck and could summer get here already!! Make sure to give us a report if/when you go and what you catch!!
