Years ago my brother who is a member of AA and speaks at meetings all over as he travels had a guy tell him about a penny stock "that can't miss". It was .04, we bought 50000 shares and ran it to .07 and thats where it stayed for another year or so then did a r/s, then took over another company and almost went BK a year later...one week it finally got back up to about what I paid for it and I sold my 285 shares, my brother kept his and now once a month he reminds me about it...FTK $28.

Add patience to your list of successful penny player tools. Which is why I like this type gambling over instant death type games like sports betting or casino betting. I like the long races...and never buy just a symbol but an idea i like... and never use margin or credit cards to play because then You are going to LOSE... maybe not this time but the next or the next and then its over.

When I was young hot shot commodity broker I got so good at day-trading copper and silver they invited me to NY to meet the head Silver trader for the firm. He was in his 60s and he not only handled our buiness but also many of the specialists on the NYSE who used commodities to move short term gains from one year to the next. We walked the silver pit together and the other traders bowed to this guy like a god... then we had lunch in his private club at his private table with a private phone link directly to the silver floor.

He said "I see that you are doing alot of day-trading for your clients and you've been pretty lucky but I'm telling you to change gears. In fact you need not send your orders thru the exchange just call me up and i'll book your trades and charge you regular commissions and you know what... within a year or less i'll have all your money."

When we got back to his office he was showing me his trading confirmations and I noticed some huge day trades...
"What's this? I asked.. "Looks like Day trades to me"' I added

He smiles and said "Those were rare exceptions to the rule"

"RIGHT" I answered.
