Some smaller players see an opportunity. The Californian company Nanotech present at CES called Nuvola a small box that allow you to watch 4K videos from major streaming sites or your own library. Besides access to content, Nanotech intends to address in one of its founders, David Foley, another problem of ultra HD: very heavy volume of files that complicates their transmission. Nuvola adapts to the quality of the network user, that “does not need a special network such as the fiber”.
