The pps is a historical figure. It's the last price a trade was executed at. So someone can dump a hand on the bid, down at .0521. The price then shows .0521. Then the bid/ask can start moving up, as we saw. But as long as no trades are made at the higher bid/ask, the price will continue to show .0521, since that was the last price a trade was executed at. Then someone makes a buy at .064, and that's the new price that shows. Hope that helps?
