Seriously? That's freaking awesome! I use Unix quite extensively (I actually run an enterprise grade server network at my house) and I looked into some programs to do stock analysis after you said that, but what I did find was weak/poorly working.
I would LOVE to build something to do stock analysis and throw it on a hardcore server system
