I get what you are saying about the FC patents potentially being marketable assets. The problem is, expirations. Most patents are only alive for a specified time frame, 10 years comes to mind, to protect the patent holder while he establishes his business before
competition is allowed to enter in. It could be that these are or are close to expired.
