Arcam receives order from German university

Arcam has received an order for an EBM system from Frriedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnbeg University in Erlangen, Germany.

The system will be used for materials and process R&D, and will be delivered in 2014.

“Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg have worked with the EBM technology since 2005, and this is their third system,” said Magnus René, CEO of Arcam. “They are at the cutting edge of fundamental research into powder-based processes in general, and EBM in particular, and their work provides valuable results that help us move the technology forward.”
