Wonway,

FASC has the technology to get rid of waste and
at the same time generate power.

This shouldn't be a hard sell.

It would be a mighty tall order selling one fellow I know of.

Garbage-burning, electricity-generating plants are old hat in Europe I am told. One entrepreneur thought that was a fine idea. Spent millions building a plant near Syracuse, NY. Bought a truckload of problems.

The plant was built before recycling took hold. Material available for burning deteriorated. There were constant threats to close the plant down, fines and various enforcement actions. Losses mounted. The plant is still spewing out fumes last I smelled it. I have no idea if it still has the same owner or if operation was ever delayed or what the books look like currently. All I really know is the neighbors don't appreciate it and it's still there.

I have wondered why the technology available in Europe was not simply transferred to the U.S..

Maybe conditions are quite different. Maybe there was long some sorting of the rubbish. Maybe a lot of things.

Waste to energy is as ancient as the burning of wood. Conversion to electricity is a bit more modern. smile

KDS presents a very attractive link in the advancement of technology.

The idea seems to be catching on.

That is good.

One day our bashers might even catch on.

I won't hold my breath.

Best, Terry
