There is nothing to get. The article claimed Adaptive acquired Onescreen but then links to the LOI which says nothing about Adaptive buying Onescreen. Patel was fired before the LOI. Shareef had nothing to do with the company before Dec 11. Norman Brodeur is the new CEO and he reached out to Shareef to help clean up the mess. It's just bad reporting and lack of fact checking on the author's part.
