About a year ago, a friend had a McAfee package on his computer, not sure if it was just anti-virus or some kind of complete "Internet Protection" package, but it made his computer run dog slow whenever accessing the internet.

At first we just thought he hadn't swept for Spyware, but even after removing what Spyware we found with MS Security Essentials and Spybot, it was still slow as molasses when accessing the internet.

I decided to uninstall the McAfee package and sure enough, the internet browsing experience returned to normal.

Norton's gave another friend of mine a similar experience, so it also is in my blacklist.
