Well done...on trumpet...but the true test for a Taps (Last Post) player is to play it on a Bugle...no valves/keys...

Tid-bit on U.S Presidential Taps...

A U.S. tradition has grown over the past 50 years; Taps has been played at internment of all American Presidents (except Reagan)on the same Bach Stradivarius Bugle (only 6 Bach Stradivarius Bugles were ever made)and has been played by only 3 U.S. Army Master Buglers during this period ... The Bugle became known as the Bach "Kennedy Bugle" and was retired and is on display at the Kennedy Memorial in Arlington.

Reagan received his own (one of the six) Bach Stradivarius Bugle when, two days before Reagan's internment, they realized that the Bach "Kennedy Bugle" had been removed to the 50th Anniversary of the Normandy Invasion. That bugle was also "retired" and is now on display in the Reagan Library and known as the Bach "Reagan Bugle"...Nancy felt Ronnie was as important as JFK and deserved his own ... anyway.
