Outlook 2014: For health IT, Stage 2 meaningful use and ICD-10 loom ahead

Hospital leaders and office-based physicians will face daunting IT stress tests in 2014. Beginning Jan. 1, physicians and other professionals eligible for the EHR-incentive program must meet 90 consecutive days of meaningful use at the Stage 2 level within their respective years.
