Pfizer had to buy the IP rights from King knowing all the while they were going to have to pay Purdue royalty fees once they obtained the patents. Sounds like already ran patents are worth a lot of money from the get go. Pfizer like Elite has 3 ART patents but Pfizer never worked on them in house the way Elite has. Makes you wonder if Elite will even have to pay Purdue royalty fees. Even if Elite does it sounds like Elite will be bringing in a lot of cash. I'm glad it was pointed out how much already ran patents are in vogue these days!
