If the stock takes off, then they are toast.Reasons=At times of big news, MMs try to cover all together at the same time, front run client orders,so they can cover themselves,and as at the same time investors try to buy,hell brakes loose,and the stock hits the roof.
It does not even have to be news.If one MM try to cover silently, the others are not stupid=They take notice, price rocks at fast speeds.
