2008 Apple was trading at $196.23
I told people Apple could lose 80% of its value.
Apple sold off to $75

Don't know how you do your math but if AAPL lost 80% of its value when it was $196.23, its per share price would have been $39.25

Here's the formula:
(Share Price) x 20% = New Share Price

$196.23 x 20% = $39.25

$75 represents a 62% drop in value and that is MAINLY due to the global financial crisis that was rampant during the time period you speak of.

I just don't understand how you can take abstract information and try to make it correlate.
