I look at it the same way,

how is the price/volume performing given the ones who have the most control?
I still have yet to see any dilution here,
just looks like everyone is holding for bigger things down the road.

another question I always ask myself.
are the people in control wanting to benefit from higher pps?
or do they want to use the shares like currency at the atm like so many do on the OTC with only a short term perspective?
Usually when big acquisitions are involved, higher share prices are beneficial to all concerned in the transaction.
