Define what MONEY really is.

Money is WHAT people agree upon.

I don't look at gold as money.

Its just another metal.

Which go up and down like anything else in this world.

Is it a store of value?

No..

Central banks control the economies.

Gold has its function in the larger picture of this complex world.

Everything moves in cycles.
