MGT - The analysis from the link omits two absolutely vital pieces of the puzzle, both of which will be required to be successful in U.S. based internet gaming.

The most important item is a gaming license in a state that allows internet gaming. The important thing to remember with gaming licenses is that the first one is the hardest to get.

The second item that was not discussed in the analysis was any type of process to get a certification letter for a specific internet gaming product. Some states do their own certifications while most states use independent test labs to provide a certification process.

Here is a presentation by an independent certification lab that discusses the challenge of regulating internet gaming and what the process might look like:

Caveat - I know the presenter. He has worked for the largest independent certification labs in the United States.

Because of the announced interest in internet gaming by MGT, investors and potential investors should research the challenges of entering the market as part of their own due diligence.
