I agreed with Moore that Democrats should have gone all the way. My opinion of what should have been done - as Hillary would say.... "What difference at this point does it make" ? But I think the Government should be a strong regulatory force to protect citizens rights and freedoms and to keep BIG BUSINESS from being crooks and thieves. It is impossible for a bureaucracy to regulate itself. Bureaucrats are no different from any other persons, in that they want their organization to grow and control more and more with bigger salaries and more buddies getting fat, so fraud & waste get a pass because that is a huge part of the growth. When BIG GOV and BIG BUS are in business together the people always get screwed. Let BUS do BUS and GOV make the laws and enforce them. ACA is a great example of how badly GOV is at "doing business". And it will get a lot worse, imho. What Moore fears is that the ACA disaster will weaken Dems and kill any chance of getting more GOV control of our economy so, yes, from his point of view, 'they' should have taken that moment when President Obama had the chance to grab the whole health care industry. Would you like that sortagreen? Hey, socialism sounds good in theory, but in practice you just have a different set of crooks in total charge and with no regulatory.
