Pre recession institutions bought parcels all across the gulf and were zoned for casino. When the economy went south instiutions were forced to cut funding to the casino industry. So, the parcels of land laid dormant for many years until now. Hence, look at the charts for MGM and WYNN. 2013 both stocks doubled. The casino industry has gotten a leg up in 2013 and set to explode across the coast in 2014. All you need to look at are the major casino stocks. Then cross reference w/ news articles from the gulf coast.
