they decided to bump up the voltage on the review systems to make sure to the nth degree that there wouldn't be any stability issues of any kind.

Oh yeah, right, that's the reason..... I'll bet. When intel does it, they're that SOB Company that's trying to pull the wool over everyone's eyes. But when AMD does it, it's "to make sure to the nth degree that there wouldn't be any stability issues of any kind". Yeah..... Right...... Sure. Nothing to do with not being able to get it to that frequency without the voltage bump..... No, it's for "Stability".
