"A recent inquiry about the status of the casino permit indicates that there will be no change in the requirements for a casino permit for DHCC after December 31. In addition, with all the casino related activities in the Coast that you mentioned it would be logical to assume that chances of DHCC getting a joint venture deal or a buyout can POTENTIALLY be increased. You were correct in your previous postings that DHCC management was not able to get a deal done when times were much better and they should have, and you are kind to wish the current shareholders well. I have been a shareholder for a number of years and like many others believe that the land owned by DHCC is in a good location and at some point it will be potentially worth more than the current market value based on the share price. I wish, if possible, that the management would sell parts of the land to developers for condos, hotels, malls, etc. and pay special dividends to shareholders while they are waiting for a casino deal. ( IMHO, long DHCC, do your own DD)" yahoo msg board poster
