A poem for an old friend.

I love more than words can say
I love you until my dying day
I love you with every breath I take
I will love you for all time and in every way
It doesn't matter time or space
I will love you just the same
And if you should ever take your love away.
I will keep loving you from far away.
My love will never change rather I'm in your presence or across the way.
I just hope deep inside of your heart you feel the same.
Remember when I said I don't miss you because I carry you in my heart?
Darlin that's the truth and I knew it from the start.
So if you never return the love I have for you.
Honey I will still love you until I'm through.
There isn't enough time for me to say to you count the ways but I will keep trying to show you until my dying day. And when my body is in the ground you will still have my heart as your crown and your face will never wear a frown. For when you look back and think of me honey I hope you know you were truly loved indeed by me.-HW77
