Non residents can buy up to a quarter ounce per day (7 grams).. And i'm assuming thats per dispensary assuming they haven't come up with some ultra complex system to track MJ for everyone everywhere by drivers licenses..

So if your a non resident you might try to go to 4 stores each day and then you can essentially buy an ounce every day.. The current medical system allows you to purchase 2 Oz per day but any patient can go to a number of dispensaries each day and they have no way of stopping this..

On Jan 1st residents will be able to purchase 1 oz per day from recreational stores and non residents can buy 1/4 of an ounce per store.. This market will allow Colorado to obtain a massive amount of sales that would normally go to other markets out of state and capture an even greater portion of in state than medicinal (390 million last year).. The estimates of Colorado's market are not high enough and its really hard to imagine how HUGE this market will truly be..

The only thing that could keep this revenue from growing even larger from sales is because some will now have incentive to grow their own and avoid paying taxes on their plants.. Some frequent smokers who were hesitant to grow since it was illegal will now set up smaller home grows which will mean they buy less weed. You can quickly pay for your equipment by growing your own and within a year it pays for itself.

Growing has seemed "sketch" in the past but now each 21 year old can have more plants than they possibly need and assuming you have roommates you can set up a fairly large grow in your house...
