Prior to becoming the CEO of BBDA, Brian Weber was involved in stock car racing. According to his background provided in press releases, Weber was a former Nationwide driver and owner. He also has over 10 years experience in the general contracting business through his company, Brian Weber & Associates, and was a former hotel operator in the New Orleans area.

Back in 2003, Weber pleaded guilty to six counts of failure to file and pay the state individual income tax. He was sentenced to two, 45-day suspended sentences. Weber was placed on supervised probation for five years and was ordered to pay $27,768.07 in restitution and $100 in court costs.
