My understanding is that there are two completely different revenue streams for AFTC.

"Awards" are given by the government to fund research and development of a technology. Through the Phase 1 and 2 Process.

"Contracts" are commercialization contracts through which the product is purchased.

Another revenue stream that might be involved, from looking at the financials, is units produced during the R & D phase for whomever...which I belive would be bought seperately and not be considered part of the R & D Award amount.

Say...The National Science Foundation wanted 6 pumps to check the spray charecteristics... I belive they would buy those.

Im reading the update and it appears there is aan Army contract that will be signed on Dec 31st..but they also mention that they secured a contract as a subcontractoe for the JP-8... That sounds like a signed deal..but no details have been provided as yet.
