Just thought I would throw out more facts for all of you AAPT fans.

Here's the first one. AAPT is wasting money on legal fees on a case they can't possibly hope to recover costs. The only reason AAPT sued EG was for show. It worked until some of the things EG claimed turned out to be true. So much for damage control. B&L are really stuck now because a judge will push for this to go to mediation and the terms will be never be disclosed. That sure was one expensive lesson.

That leads to the next fact/lesson. Purchasing inventory in large quantities without having orders is one of the worst business decisions ever. AAPT would have saved over $500K easily if B&L would have used a just in time method for producing inventory after they receive orders. Now before I go on, I know, you are thinking "B&L" would have just used the money for themselves, which is very probable.

Now, I've saved the best for last. Even if AAPT got an order for $1M, they couldn't handle it. No cash and no way to finance something like that. Debt is completely out of the question and PPs are not going to touch this any time in the near future. And, before you get any funny ideas about a vendor fronting them, AAPT is already being sued for non-payment by a vendor directly involved in producing AAPT products. Good luck ever getting a vendor to do anything without cold, hard cash upfront.

Seriously, if AAPT makes it another year the best option for all of the dreamers is to start to look forward to the next generation of products because the current ones aren't selling. Not in the quantity they need to. Maybe some of the dreamers have some ideas they can share with good ole Barry. Just don't expect any kind of residual or royalty for the idea. And, don't expect them to sell either because AAPT doesn't know the first thing about marketing.

Have a Merry Christmas all of you dreamers.
