Here is how you make your SEIKI TV look really gooood!

First make sure you have the latest firmware installed. Go to 4kspecial.com and Seiki.com and make sure you follow and compare the instructions from both sites. It can be very bad to install it improperly or to install the incorrect firmware!!!

Then, hit menu on the remote.
(Your menu might look slightly different based on your model/firmware.)

Picture Mode: User
Contrast: 52
Brightness: 48 Do not put brightness above 48 it skewes colors the wrong direction and is no bueno.
Color: 39
Color Temp: Warm
Sharpness: 0
Backlight: 40 Never go over 60 same issue as above. no bueno.

Then on the remote hit exit/menu/setup
Noise Reduction: OFF
DLC: OFF

On the remote hit exit/menu
then with number keys hit 0000

In service menu do the following
others/color temp.

Red Gain: 141
Green Gain: 141
Blue Gain: 116
Red Offset: 520
Green Offset: 510
Blue Offset: 510

I got these settings from a forum with the link to poster below. I have made some tweaks of my own, but lets use this as a baseline because he used the proper methods for calibration. I make some slight adjustments to the backlight and sometimes lower the brightness or tweak the contrast depending on what I'm watching. Sometimes I also back off on the reds slightly. This is a great baseline and if anyone makes any good changes please share!

I still can't quite use it for color grading while video editing, but this thing is AMAZING for the price, build quality, and UHD resolution!
