Metaswarm lies. Here is some verifiable information about the company. This is one of their webpages -

See where it says "MetaSwarm has over 34 patents pending on breakthrough technologies". Now go to the Patent Office and see this -

Here is the first lie by Metaswarm. They do not have 34 patents pending. The Patent Office page shows 13.

But there is more bogus stuff by Metaswarm. I got help from a patent lawyer friend, who showed me how to do the following. Look at the earliest filing in 2005. See the serial number 20050132069.
Now go to this govt page for what they call PAIR -

You have to do correctly a captcha test - see those squiggly letters? Once you do so, you get a page where you enter that 20050132069 number. You also have to pick 'publication number' out of a set of choices.

Then you see the status of their earliest filing. It says "Abandoned -- Incomplete Application (Pre-examination)", with and this is important the date of 06-02-2006.

Keep going. I did. The next earliest filing is 20050198160. Again, when you go to the PAIR, to look up this status, it says - "Abandoned -- Incomplete Application (Pre-examination)" with the date of 07-07-2006.

I did this for all 13 Metaswarm filings. All have been abandoned. They cannot get patents from these.

This is the other Metaswarm lie. In their web page, they talk about their 34 patents pending. Even if that was 13 instead of 34, it would still be false. My lawyer friend said a patent pending does not exist forever. It is pending up to a point, which means it is waiting for Examination. Ultimately, a patent pending becomes only one of two things - a patent or a rejection/abandoned. In either case, the patent pending no longer exists.

MSWM does not even have 13 patents pending. Metaswarm has 0 patents pending.

By the way, their last pending was in 2007. The PAIR said this was also abandoned, on 09-30-2010. So that company webpage I mentioned might have been partially true up to Sept 2010, when some patents pending were still valid. But after then, not so.

That was over 3 years ago. If Metaswarm has prospects, then why haven't they maintained their own website? A real company that is operational and actually had good prospects would do so.

Just more sad stuff on the OTC. Beware of investing here.
