Kinda sad how the bloviating apple attorneys blowviated away our EDIG crackerjack Handal Team on the big issue.
But those comments derogatory toward everything not supporting edig are all too common and almost always false to boot.
Regarding the latest laches attempt it's a very real defense. It's legit and not at all how it's being described. However I do,think its harder to prove because it's also kinda speculative on different levels.
You can't wait till companies such as apple flood the market and then sue them after you knew they were infringing earlier. And the not having the cash to sue is not a defense. And apple doesn't have to actually prove Edig knew back in 2002-5 edig knew just that they should have known.
I remember in 2001 how the boards claimed IPOD was just ripoff of odyssey 1000. Heck that was claimed about the Samsung yepp and Samsung got off with paying $1.2. I bet Samsung doesn't even care today they could have paid 60k and received rights to the entire patent portfolio for flash.
But what makes me laugh more than anything reading comments today is the comments how our threatening and suing over flash is a marketing tool to sign these companies to Microsignet and Nunchi. You talk about bloviating material. And this idea was seeded by management too. I guess this is how Fred Falk is so Herculean trying to help,us shareholders out since he is so filthy rich and doesn't need to do this so,the only explanation is he does what he does for us. Personally for me and my investment in edig the best thing Fred could do is resign. But the problem there is who is gonna take over and after the numerous revolving door heads we have had why would anyone think that would be different. Root, Falk, collier, Atul, Blakeley now Falk again. Wooody must think he is George Steinbrenner only he doesn't spend money he takes money.
But alas little ediggers once again it's Decemeber and the comments like NEXT YEAR is surely our year as they have for 15 years is heating up again. Is the golf tourney back on too.
It's kinda funny I may have started the first edig golf tourney. I think about 8 of us got together and played in San Diego back in 1999 and I got the then secretary , nice young lady fogrget her name, to donate an edig long sleeve shirt that Engine 38, his name was JOn, won by being closest tot he hole on a chosen par 3.
I did meet a lot of great people in those early years of edig and it completely saddens me now how ripped off they were by this management team FALK included. I know I know those who bought in on the lies, misleads etc are responsible and apparently deserved to lose it all but on the other side so is the management team responsible for their part.
