If SONY "needs" NTEK's 4k streaming technology that
would be quite the story...

Most companies are waiting on the Codec & HDMI 2.0 to hit
the market...which together could be another 6 mo. or so.

But, having done a bit of research on the matter, what
makes the Sony story so compelling & REAL is that the
divisions do NOT often communicate with one another...
even while developing products.

So, what's the result? SONY Electronics manufactures this
piracy-prevention gadget that ONLY works on 2 of the 4K
Division Panels & doesn't seem to be playing ALL of SONY
Pictures Division movies...sounds irrational, comical &
improbably: But, it is THE FACTS!!!


Customer service info, reviews, & forum blogs all bear
this out. So, SONY buying &/or having or using NTEK
product in the Nuvola NP-1 is actually a cost effective
strategy at this point.


The current Sony 4K TV & Player hook-ups often require
a visit from Sony Installation Team....takes time &
apparently is NOT DELIVERING the performance as promised.


Nuvola could EASILY be a solution & could come out of a
different DIVISION (as a DEMAND that the superior product
be used)....we'll see.
